Influenced by the famous Carribean poet and writer Edouard Glissant, who was also her uncle, da Gema's work deals with issues of identity, culture and relations to the Other (foreigners, strangers, unkown).

Da Gema wrote several theatre plays :




  • "Don Juan and his women", 2014, based on various works on Don Juan written by several famous French classic and modern authors;




Da Gema also wrote some sketches related to the promotion of the play "L'Ile des Nouveaux Esclaves".


She is actually writing a new play on five dictators' women.
